Privacy Policy
Miyake Credit Card Consulting ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do — and don't do — with it.
What we collect
- Contact information — your name and email address, when you book a call or fill out our pre-call survey.
- Financial context you choose to share — things like which credit cards you hold, approximate monthly spending, an approximate credit score range, and your rewards goals. We only receive what you type into the survey or tell us on a call.
- Booking details — the date and time of calls you schedule.
We do not collect card numbers, account credentials, Social Security numbers, or exact credit scores, and we will never ask for them. We do not run credit checks.
How we use it
- To prepare for and conduct your consultation.
- To build and deliver your personalized rewards plan.
- To follow up with you about services you've asked about.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their marketing. We have no affiliate relationships with card issuers, so we have no incentive to pass your data to anyone.
Services we rely on
A few trusted tools process data on our behalf:
- Cal.com — scheduling. Your booking details are handled per Cal.com's privacy policy.
- Formspree — delivers your survey answers to our inbox, per Formspree's privacy policy.
- Stripe (via Cal.com) — payment processing for paid services. We never see or store your card number.
Retention & your rights
We keep your information only as long as needed to serve you. You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you — email landinmiyake@gmail.com and we'll take care of it promptly.
Cookies
This site does not set tracking cookies of its own. Embedded services (such as the Cal.com scheduler) may set cookies necessary for their function.
Terms of Service
What we are — and aren't
Miyake Credit Card Consulting provides educational information and independent consulting on credit card rewards strategy. We are not a financial advisor, bank, lender, credit repair service, or credit counseling agency. Nothing on this site or in our consultations constitutes financial, legal, credit, or tax advice. For advice specific to your situation, consult a licensed professional.
Your decisions are yours
Any card applications, account changes, or financial decisions you make are your own. Card approvals, rates, fees, bonuses, and reward values are set by issuers, can change without notice, and are outside our control. We make no guarantee of approval or of any specific rewards outcome, except as expressly stated in a written guarantee.
The rewards-only-work-one-way rule
Credit card rewards are only beneficial when statement balances are paid in full each month. Carrying a balance means interest charges that will outweigh any rewards earned. If you carry a balance, our guidance will prioritize paying it down — and you should too.
Payments & refunds
Paid services (such as the Points Plan) are billed at the price shown at booking, processed securely through Stripe. The Points Plan is backed by our $500 value-found guarantee: if we can't identify at least $500 in first-year rewards value for your situation, we'll refund the fee in full. Refund requests can be sent to landinmiyake@gmail.com.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Miyake Credit Card Consulting is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or our services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms and this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version; continued use of the site after changes means you accept them.
